Welcome to the wjd.nu pages
Page overview
The interesting parts of this site are either the notes to self or the files section.
If you're looking for my random snippets of nerdy information, you may want to take a closer look at this years notes. They're mostly mini-articles about stuff that I had trouble with and couldn't easily find the solution for on the web. See the listing of all notes for a complete overview.
If you're looking for music or videos, check out the files section. Please note that I do referer checking on those files, so you cannot deeplink to these files from your own site.
I also have a really really modest list of articles. Think of them as the notes to self that grew a bit large.
Lastly, this server hosts the picture gallery of my wife which is intended for Dutch viewers and my mothers website about folk music and dancing which is in Dutch and Swedish.
Feedback
Questions about or comments or corrections on any part of the site are appreciated. Send an e-mail to my forename at the wjd.nu domain. Please add “wjd.nu” in the subject to diminish the chance that your email gets chucked in the SPAM box by accident.

P.S. If you're looking for walter@djcvt.net or walter@digitalbrains.com, you've come to the right place. Those addresses do not exist anymore.
P.P.S. Books to get me: Understanding the Linux Kernel (Daniel Pierre Bovet, Marco Cesati) [O'Reilly], Practical Common Lisp (Peter Seibel), The Book of Genesis Illustrated by Robert Crumb (Robert Crumb), The Old New Thing: Practical Development Throughout the Evolution of Windows (Raymond Chen), one of Martin Kellermans Rocky albums in Swedish [but not 1, 14, 16] (they rule!), something by Marjolijn Februari (I like her columns in de Volkskrant)
P.P.P.S. Music I'm still missing: Ayreon - To The Quasar (Universal Migrator, Part 2: Flight of the Migrator), Jason Moran - Ten, Marcos Valle - Que Que Tem (Marcos Valle - Contrasts), Camiel - Nevada (Camiel - "On a day like this")
